Is LIFE something that we should be listening for?
It's happening all around us,
but
sometimes we are unaware
until a NEW LIFE breaks into our days!
13 For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.
17 How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them!
How sweet of God, that in the middle of this #Write31Days Challenge, HE would schedule the birth of our newest Grandbaby! Little-Boy was born yesterday, the second son of our oldest son and daughter-in-law.
This is the same daughter-in-law that I wrote about in this post:
Sunrise in Vietnam
When we open our hearts to listen for LIFE from God, we never know the ways that He will change our paths,
and
lead us deeper into the heart of LOVING.
Because God shows us HIS LOVE by bringing NEW LIFE.
2 Corinthians 5:17(NIV) "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
Throughout this path of "Listening with Chronic Illness," I have been learning that the old ways of walking have changed for me. And, yes, there are times of sadness that come over me as I grieve the passing of a Season.
But there is JOY to be found here, now, if I let the Lord show me the NEW that He is bringing to me here. As I dwell in Christ, He creates this New Life, and I am carried away with Wonder if I will let Him take me there.
Just as this Grandma's heart is bursting with LOVE as I hold this new fragile little one,
JESUS' heart for me is bursting with LOVE as He holds me, fragile tho I may feel.
Eyes locked together, Lover and Beloved, resting in the arms that will never let go.
This is Day 10 for the #Write31Days Challenge,
where I am on a path of #31Days of Listening with Chronic Illness

Congratulations, Grandma! Each grandchild is so precious. It's so awesome how God knits each one together in a beautiful uniqueness. I hope you get plenty of cuddling times with this miracle. :) I love the analogy of how Jesus' heart bursts with love in the same way our hearts do for our grandkids. Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh thank you Trudy! Isn't it amazing how each one truly is his own unique person from day 1? We see the traces of our own children in them, reminding us of those days, and yet they are new and different too! I am thankful for each little moment of cuddling I get, taking nothing for granted in this Season of change myself! Hugs & Blessings!
DeleteBettie, it doesn't take much to transport us to wonder and joy when we witness the miracle of new birth, hold precious new life in our arms and see how beautifully formed and special it is. Sharing your joy, oh grandma of 5! God knew what a lift and blessing it would be for this event to occur during your time of extra prayerful listening to Him. Celebrating with you! Enjoy cradling him close just as God holds us. Blessings to you and your sweet family. Xox
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joy! Yes, God knew how blessed I would be for this new life right now! And, it shows how involved I have been in everything that I can't even count correctly: I had written you this was Grandbaby #5, when he is actually Grandbaby #6. OH MY. Can I just blame it on Fibro-Fog again? :) --Blessings & Hugs!!
DeleteBless you in your joy in new life - can't wait to be a grandma! (nothing on the horizon so I will need to wait...) May God give you the beauty of His companionship today.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue, Thanks for stopping by! I am blessed by your beautiful prayer to have "the beauty of His companionship today." & being a Grandma is such a joy!! :-)
